| Lee R. Womack, Jr., 64, of Raleigh died March 11, 2010. Born in Lee County, Lee resided in Raleigh most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Navy, a former Raleigh Police Officer, and a former N.C. State Trooper. Lee was also a Mason and Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Womack, Sr.
Surviving are his mother, Maxine Womack of Raleigh; a daughter, Michele Willett and husband, Ron of Sanford; a son, Lee Womack III of Louisburg; a son, Ryan Lee Womack of Lexington, NC; a brother, Jerry Womack of Raleigh; a sister, Julia Murray and husband, Milton of Middlesex; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
