Dorothy Cotter Garrard

August 16, 1931 - February 21, 2011 Dorothy Cotter Garrard passed away February 21, 2011 at Hospice Home of Wake County. Dorothy was born August 6, 1931 to the late Hugh Cotter and Lillie Coates Cotter. She graduated from Hugh Morson High School in 1950. She was a bookkeeper for 20 years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cutting stained glass and making chocolate truffles.She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Billy Garrard, and special friends, Debbie and Bobby Wise. Burial will be at Raleigh Memorial Park on Glenwood Avenue, Friday, February 25th at 2:00 pm. Friends will be received at the cemetery after the burial.
