Jerry Lynn Gilchrist

WILLOW SPRING – Jerry Lynn Gilchrist, 51, passed away on Tuesday. He was the son of the late Edgar James Gilchrist and Minnie Mae Medlin Gilchrist. Jerry is survived by the mother of his children, Wendy Gilchrist of Fuquay-Varina; daughter, Whitney Reese and husband Matthew of Cary; sons , Joshua Gilchrist and wife Laura of Angier, Jacob Gilchrist of Garner, brothers, Ricky Gilchrist and wife, Deborah of Raleigh, Harold Soles and wife, Judy of Garner, Wayne Soles and wife, Loretta of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren, Hannah Gilchrist and Weston Reese and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a brother Danny Gilchrist and sister, Mary McLendon. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Hillmon Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Cameron, NC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the homes of his children.
