José Villarreal Almaraz

RALEIGH – José Villarreal Almaraz, 87, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 after a period of declining health. José was born in Tapico, Mexico on September 11, 1931, and after honorably serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, he became a U.S. Citizen. He remained in the U.S. culminating in his retirement from IBM in the Triangle area. José was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Faye Langdon Almaraz and numerous nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Fellowship Community Cemetery in Angier, NC.
