Lance Cole Duckworth

Lance Cole Duckworth, 72, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2022 at home surrounded by his wife and children.

He was born on December 11, 1949 to Roy Duckworth and Minnie Lee Huffine in Charlotte, N.C.

He served in the United States Air Force for 2 tours in Vietnam returning home to eventually meet Linda Christine Vick, the love of his life. They were married on September 15, 1973. He retired from the United States Postal Service in 2003.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kim. He is survived by his wife, Chris Duckworth; his brother, Ken Duckworth; his daughter, Alana Goodale, son-in-law, Marty Goodale and his daughter, Tracy Shorts, son-in-law, Leroy Shorts, and grandson, Cole Shorts.
