William Harold “Harley” Penninger

Raleigh – William Harold Penninger, 71, passed away at his home Saturday surrounded by his loving family. A native of Guilford Co. he was the son of the late Luther and Alberta Adams Penninger. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Carolina Pines Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. William is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jessie Penninger; sons, William Luther Penninger and wife, Leah of Wilmington, Michael David Penninger and wife, Jaime Lynn of Benson; sister, Nancy Duncan and husband, Jim of Marion, NC; brother, Howard Penninger of Wilmington; grandchildren, Alyssa Michelle Penninger, Elli Josephine Penninger; four nieces and one nephew. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church.
