Adam Randolph Penny

Coats, NC - Adam Randolph Penny, age 47, passed away on October 15, 2023. In his final hours, he was with his loving family and many cherished friends. Adam lived his life to the fullest in his chosen way. He enjoyed simple things; the outdoors, the water, the woods, his toys, and especially his beloved fur buddies. He maintained a close relationship with each of his three brothers enjoying many outdoor cookouts, fishing trips, and family gatherings. His son Will, his fiancé Jennifer, and his honorary daughter Riley were the anchor and foundation of his life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew his mischievous smile, generous nature, and his unwavering loyalty to close friends.

Adam was predeceased by his grandparents, Janet and Japert Broadwell and Dorothy and Joe Penny. He is survived by his son Will Penny, his fiancé Jennifer Shiel and her daughter Riley, his parents Dianne and Ron Penny, his brothers and wives, Joseph /Johni Penny, Matthew/Misty Penny, and Benjamin/Meghan Penny. Adam had a natural closeness with his nieces and nephews, Todd and Harrison Penny and Olivia Bellamy, Savannah and Kyndall Penny, and Emery Penny. Adam will also be missed by his loving step-grandmother, Addie Wallace; and Pat Shiel, Jennifer’s Dad, who he greatly admired. There are also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will dearly miss Adam.

A celebration of Adam’s life will be held at a future date. The family wishes to sincerely thank all who have expressed condolences, support, and prayers for them and Adam. They are genuinely touched by the outpouring of tributes and love from all who knew Adam.
