Adriana Ramos

Adriana Perez Ramos gained her angel wings on October 8th at her home in Garner, NC surrounded by loved ones. She was 81 years old.

Adriana was caring, full of passion and joy in many aspects of her life. She was born in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico and migrated to Hialeah, FL at a very young age where she raised her two daughters, Marisol and Lisa. She then established roots in Jersey City, NJ as a presser for the fashion industry. While at work she met her love, Cristobal Gonazalez.

Adriana lived her life to the fullest. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, shopping, listening to music, and dancing Cumbia. She loved celebrating holidays and spending time with family especially during a parranda. She found joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She cherished loved ones and stayed connected with them whether in person or over the phone. She remained a faithful woman of God for her entire life.

We know that God is pleased to have one of his kind and generous angels back in his arms. Adriana will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Adriana is survived by her loving husband, Cristobal Gonzalez. She is also survived by her sisters, Carmen and Maria Nieves Perez and nephew and nieces Nandi, Zeny, Alexia and Maritza. She has two daughters Mari Rivera and husband Orlando and Lisa Clement and husband Michael. She has four grandchildren, Jose (Colie) Rivera and wife Andreina and Sergio Rivera and wife Emily, Nicole and Mikey Clement. Adriana has three great grandchildren, Jose, Xavier and Evelise Rivera. She is preceded by her parents, Francisco Nieves Iglesias and Alicia Perez Ramos and nephew Wilfredo Hernandez.

Services will be held Saturday, October 15th, 2022 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 – 4:00pm. Catholic Mass will be held Monday, October 17th, 2022 at St. Michael Archangel Roman Catholic Church from 11:00 – 12:00pm.
