Agnes O. Mcleod

WILLOW SPRING-Agnes Genene Olive McLeod departed her earthly life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 surrounded by her family. In my Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 Agnes was born in Emanuel, Georgia on October 16, 1929. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roxie Monroe Baker and John Leonard Olive; her husband of 65 years, Carley Isom McLeod; daughter, Brenda Norton; and a son, Ronnie McLeod. The visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 6:00–8:00 pm at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Angier. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Fuquay-Varina. Survivors include; children, Sandra O’Connell (Mack), Dwite McLeod, Debra McLeod (Thomas Adkins), and Ricky McLeod (Laurie Burch). She was blessed with four grandchildren; Johnny Wayne Norton, Jr (Kari), Donovan Page (Robin), Tracy Ellithorpe (Ian), Jessica Price (Ricky), and seven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nick Norton, Emily, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Mason, Abigail, and Allen Price. Agnes devoted her life to her family and friends. She was happiest when she was with them talking and laughing around the family table. We will miss our dear sweet mama, Aggie and friend.
