Agnes Wall Smith

Agnes Wall Smith, 96, passed away Wednesday. A native of WakeCounty, she was one of ten children of the late Henry and Jane Wilder Wall. Mrs. Smith operated Smiths Nursery for 30 years in Garner. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow in BethlehemBaptistChurchCemetery. Survivors include her son, , Albert C. Smith, Jr. of Pleasant Garden, NC; daughters, Judy S. Cox, Gail S. Mills, both of Garner and Nancy S. Kunkel of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Tony and Kenny Mills, Albert C. Smith III, Ryan Smith, Whitney C. Sims, Joanna C. Lewis, Leslie K. Henderson and Lauren K. Huy and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Colonel Smith, Sr. and infant daughter, Hilda Rae Smith. The family will receive friends from 2:00- 3:00 pm Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
