Aileene Ruth Deberry

GARNER – Aileene Ruth DeBerry, 90, passed away Tuesday at Oak Hill Assisted Living Center.  She was daughter to the late Daniel W. and Lucy H. Hamilton. In addition to her loving husband, Ray M. DeBerry, Aileene is preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a housewife for many years who loved to sing and cook.  Prior to marriage, she and two of her siblings would travel to Raleigh to sing on the radio station, in churches and recorded several records. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 1:30 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner.  Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 12:30 PM. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Mitchell, Vickie Lee and husband, Wallace; sisters, Francis Malloy and Linda Haithcock; brothers, Glynn Hamilton and wife, Joann, Dalton Beaman and wife, Lucille; grandchildren, Tommy Mitchell and wife, Kim, Brad Mitchell and wife, Jana, Bryan Lee, Chris Lee and Brooke Lee-Hire and husband, Matt; seven great-grandchildren, Jordan Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, Camden Hire, Griffin Hire, Ayden Lee, Chase Mitchell and Presley Mitchell.
