Albert Donald Atkinson

Albert Donald Atkinson, 63, of Angier passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was the son of the late Joseph Albert Atkinson and Marcelle Carter Atkinson of Garner. He leaves behind his precious family - brother, Joseph Harold Atkinson and wife, Betty Young Atkinson of Garner; sister, Sue Atkinson Bryant and husband Tony of Benson; brother, Thomas Ricky Atkinson and wife, Rachael Malagisi Atkinson of Clayton; sister, Kathy Atkinson Sharp and husband, Bob of Selma; nieces, Holly Atkinson, Cindy Atkinson, Emily Atkinson, Jamie Powell; nephews, Alexander Atkinson, Joseph Sharp and Trey Gray; great nephews, Jacob Powell, Will Vuncannon and Kaden Gray. He is preceded in death by Brother, Johnny Elbert Atkinson and nieces, Brandy Lewis Hawkins and Mica Love Upchurch. Donald was a plumber for Avery Plumbing of Angier and loved helping people. A funeral service will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 28th with a visitation prior to the service, from 10:00 am – 10:45 am.
