Albert Wesley Brown, Jr.

Albert Wesley Brown Jr., age 90, passed away following a period of declining health at his home on Saturday, December 28, 2024 in Raleigh, NC.

Born June 16, 1934 in Selma, NC, he was the son to the late Albert Wesley Brown Sr. and Mildred Corbett Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Monteen Lowdermilk Brown; sons, Timothy Wesley Brown and wife, Janet of Raleigh, NC, and Jamie Scott Brown of Raleigh, NC; and grandson, James Wesley Brown of Raleigh, NC.

Albert proudly served in the US Army from 1957 to 1959. Afterwards, he worked for Noland Co. as a salesman in plumbing and heating for 35 years. He enjoyed going to the beach to surf fish, as well as shagging at the beach. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Allen Brown.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Friday, January 3, 2025 at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, 7600 ACC Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27617.
