Alberto Martinez Herrera

August 26, 2003 — October 2, 2024

Alberto Martinez Herrera was born August 26, 2003 in Wilmington, North Carolina and passed away October 2, 2024. Alberto was loved and appreciated by many for his kindness and resilience. A problem solver with natural talent, who had aspirations of starting a construction company with his brother, Anthony. He had recently become a barber, sharing that natural ability with his mother, Alba, who hoped to see him surpass her own skill set. Since childhood Alberto was so loving that it would surprise his family and as he grew older that trait was consistent. A wonderful son, brother and friend who was respectful, helpful and noble while being funny and mischievous at the same time. That special essence he brought to life will be missed by every person who cherished him forever. Alberto is survived by his parents, Bernabe Martinez Martinez and Alba Herrera Corona, his siblings Justin Martinez Herrera, Anthony Martinez Herrera and Edith Azucena Martinez Herrera as well as his grandparents, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. His viewing and time to see his family will be Wednesday, October 9th from 9am-9pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier. Memorial service will be held Thursday, October 10th at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Fuquay Varina at 1pm.
