Alex Michael Stout

Alex Michael Stout, 21, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2025. Fearless from a young age, he never shied away from adventure. He loved gaming, role-playing, and, most of all, animals-especially his dogs, Max and Rocky. He found joy in traveling, with some of his favorite destinations being Italy, Iceland, and Australia. Some of his favorite memories were snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, visiting the island of Capri, and swimming with whale sharks in Mexico. Above all, Alex had a huge heart-he wanted nothing more than to help others, both people and animals alike.

Alex is survived by his parents, Becky Stout (Phil Hill) and Ted Stout (Kat Bukowy); his brother, Jason Stout; his grandparents David & Karen Stone, Charlie Cherrick, Clifford Stout and Debbie Stout; and his close cousins, Alyssa Murray and Hannah Murray. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bonnie Cherrick.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.

Though his journey was cut short, Alex's spirit will live on in the memories of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
