Alfred Michael Taylor, Sr.

FOUR OAKS– Alfred Michael Taylor, Sr., 69, passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2023. Alfred was born on August 26, 1953, in Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Alfred Owen Taylor, Sr., and Margaret Taylor. Alfred was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Owen Taylor, Sr., and mother, Margaret Taylor.

Alfred Taylor was an amazing and loving father to his children and especially his grandchildren. His grandchildren were the highlight of his life and kept him going through the toughest days. He enjoyed spending time with family, reading his bible and worshipping Jesus. Alfred used to be in a band and traveled all over the world. You were a lucky person to know Alfred as he was a rare soul, kind to anyone who interacted with him, gentle yet stern when he needed to be. You should consider yourself lucky to hear his stories of his life, music, traveling. Alfred found The Lord and shared the word of God with anyone and everyone. Alfred was also the director of one of the largest food banks in northeastern NC and he loved to help others in need.

Alfred is survived by his loving daughters; Dominiic Beach, Kristen Cortes, and Britany Tucker; His sons, Alfie Taylor, Jr., Jayson Taylor, Erik Taylor, and Chris Beach; brother, Bob Taylor; grandchildren, Amelianna Beach, Ayden Beach, Rex Beach, Jayden Taylor, and Chris Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends for a period of visitation on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dominiic Beach to help with Alfred’s final expenses. We thank you for being there for the family in this tragic time.
