Alfred Monroe Rev. Hartsell

RALEIGH - Rev. Alfred Monroe Hartsell, 79, went to be with the Lord on Monday surrounded by his family. He was born in Stanley County to the late Charlie and Nealie Campbell Hartsell. Alfred was a US Navy veteran and was the minister of The Falls of Neuse Pentecostal Holiness Church, Cornerstone Conference, Wake Forest NC for eleven years. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at The Capital Church, 1308 Hwy. 70 W, Garner NC. Burial will be at 4:00 PM Thursday at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Locust, NC. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Holloway Hartsell; one sister, Pearlie McGhee and her husband, Don ; brothers, J. B. Hartsell, Charlie Hartsell, Jr, and Homer Hartsell and his wife, Juanita, all of Albemarle; Step-Sons, Steve Jordan and wife, Renee and Cecil Jordan and wife, Robin, all of Raleigh and Brian Jordan and his wife, Judy of Willow Spring; Grandchildren, Christina Clanton, Katlyn Gray and Breana ,Jenna, Jared and Grant Jordan; Two step-grandchildren, Robert and Dallas Helms and Four Great-Grandchildren . The family will receive relatives and friends from 7-8:30 PM Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, NC. Flowers are appreciated or you may give to The Falls of Neuse P. H. Church, 320 Gary Street, Raleigh, NC 27606 or Hospice of Wake County 250 Hospice Circle Raleigh, NC 27607.
