Alfred Smith

FUQUAY-VARINA - Alfred Smith, 72, passed away on Sunday. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Clifford James and Bulah Mae Price Smith. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, 300 E. McIver St. Angier, NC 27501. Interment will follow at Kennebec Baptist Church Cemetery, 9808 Kennebec Church Road, Angier, NC 27501. The family will receive friends from 11-11:50 at the funeral home. He is survived by his son, Jerry J. Smith and wife, Angela Holder Smith; daughter, Judy Ann Hamm; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; caregiver, Sherry Barefoot; beloved dog, King; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Adams and Susan Smith.
