Alice Martin Zangari

Alice Martin Zangari, 87, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Born in Princeton, NC on August 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late W. L. and Lela Martin. She had a lifelong love of country music and reading. Alice had a wonderful sense of humor and saw the good in everyone. Her laughter will be missed. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, NC. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Jones. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia and her husband, Randy of Cape Carteret; daughter-in-law, Vonnie Jones of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Steve Bowman of Garner, Warren Bowman and wife, Kara of Petersburg, VA, Wanda Bowman of Clayton, Dion Jones and Caroline of Belton, SC and Darin Jones and Ana of Charleston, SC; great-grandchildren, Brittany Arnold of Cape Carteret, Cassidy Arnold of Clayton, Alexander Jones of Belton, SC and Sarah Jones of Charleston, SC.
