Alice Roena West

ANGIER-Alice Roena West, 88, passed away Thursday at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late John David Wilkins and Kizzie Ellen Jones Wilkins. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Angier. Burial will follow the service at Hodges Chapel PWFB Church Cemetery, 780 Hodges Chapel Road, Benson, NC 27504. Alice is survived by her daughters, Mary Alice Partin of Angier, and Connie D. Hart of Angier; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Maylon D. West; sisters, Vennie Barefoot, Sylvia Barefoot, Virginia Coats; brothers, Bennie Wilkins, Herman Wilkins, Jack Wilkins, Henry Wilkins, William Robert Wilkins, and Willis Wilkins.
