Alice Woolard Walker

GARNER- Alice Woolard Walker, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Maton and Anniebelle Williams Woolard. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Surviving are her son, Kenny Walker and her sister, Sara W. Banks and husband, Thomas Braxton, all of Garner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Walker, Jr. and her brother, James Woolard. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. The family extends their deep appreciation to Jamie Strickland, Alice’s caregiver and to Heartland Hospice for their support.
