Allen Bryant Murray, Sr.

Fuquay-Varina– Allen Bryant Murray, Sr., 86, passed away on Saturday at Wake Medical Center in Cary. Born in Harnett County, he was the son of the late Rasters Vander Murray and Maida Lee Mashburn Murray.

Allen is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sarah N. Murray; children, Allan Murray, Jr. and wife, Theresa of Holly Springs, Meichele “Dixie” Murray of Fuquay-Varina, Van Murray and wife, Amy of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Trey Murray, Ben Murray, Kyle Murray, Jacob Murray, Sarah Murray, Cassy Brown, Krystal Thomas, Caleb Jackson, Meadow Jackson, and River Jackson; 17 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Joe Murray.
