Allen Lee Glover

Allen Lee Glover, 75, passed away on December 5, 2021. A native of Harnett County, Allen was born December 20, 1945, to the late George Allen and Ruby Lee Seagroves Glover. Allen ran many businesses as a land developer over his career, before retiring to spend time with his family. One of his favorite things in the world, was his antique car collection. He and his wife, Joyce, would travel far and wide to buy cars, parts, and to go to shows. Over his years of collecting and restoring his cars, he was known by many classic car enthusiasts in the area. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, at 1PM, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529. Burial at Montlawn Memorial Park will follow. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 4-6PM at the funeral home. Allen is survived by his wife, Joyce Lasater Glover; children, Lloyd Glover and wife, Michelle, and Dawn Michelle Adams and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Amber Barbour and husband, Shepard, Logan Glover, Cole Glover and wife, Caeley, Ashley Adams, and Rachel Adams; great grandchildren, Levi and Avery Barbour; sisters, Ronell Denton, Brenda Howell, and Hilda Lyman; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Higgins and Christine Langley, and a brother, James Glover.
