Apex- Allen Norman Boyer, Jr., 82, passed away at Wake Medical Center in Cary on Monday, September 27, 2021. Born in Mt. Pleasant, PA, he was the son of the late Allen Norman Boyer, Sr., and Genevieve Stefl Boyer. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 10th at 2:00 PM at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier. Allen is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dale Boyer; daughters, Elizabeth Dale Slabaugh (David) of Cary, Loru Boyer Hawley (Brian) of Angier; sons, Richard Allen Boyer (Tammy) of Angier, John Boyer (Tasha) of Greenville; brother, Kim Boyer (Connie) of Redmond, WA; six grandchildren, Rance Slabaugh (Brittni), Chase Slabaugh (Brooklyn), Joshua Hawley, Hunter Hawley, Ethan Boyer, Sydney Boyer; one great grandson, Asher Slabaugh; a nephew, Kevin Boyer of Redmond, WA.
