Almond Glover

RALEIGH- Almond Alva Glover, 80, was born in Nash County on April 27, 1932, son of the late Marion Glover and Effie Lamm Glover. He was promoted to Heaven on January 28, 2013. After 34 years of service, he retired from Dorothea Dix Hospital. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Thursday at MontlawnMemorial Park. He is survived by a son, Ricky Glover and wife, Bonnie; daughter, Debbie Tomlinson and husband, Billy; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Glover requested memorial contributions be made to Midway Baptist Church Missions Fund, 6910 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, NC27603.
