A.M. Lee

Alder Milton (“A.M.”) Lee, 84, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Hermon Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Immediately following, the family will greet friends at the church. A native of Clayton, A.M. is survived by his beloved Wife of 64 years, Evangeline Medlin Lee; son, Johnny Lee and wife, Jane; daughter, Lisa Clark-Degumba and husband, David; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A.M. lived a full life, having served in the United States Army from 1954-1956.  Following, he worked for the State of North Carolina for 30 years.  But most importantly he always served the Lord. A.M. spent his last years doing what he loved the most, spending time with his loving Wife and family.  He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell anyone who would listen.  There will never be another person quite like A.M.  The family welcomes you to celebrate his life with them on what would have been his 85th birthday.
