Garner - Amanda Harris Carroll, 50, died November 15th from a combination of colon cancer and multiple sepsis/infections in Raleigh, NC at Rex Hospital. Her husband, Greg, and son, Scott, were faithfully with her.
Amanda was a Christian, an employee of the NC Department of Labor I.T. Division, and baseball team mom who was loved by many friends and family. Amanda was a true friend to so many people and will be truly missed. Thanks be to God her health battles are over and she is at peace.
She was a 1990 graduate of Garner Senior High School and went on to earn an Associate’s degree from Wake Tech and a Bachelor of Science from Wesleyan College. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, her dogs, going to the beach, Mexican food, baseball, and being a baseball team mom to many kids over the years. She especially loved watching Scott play baseball, from the Rec leagues all the way to college.
