KNIGHTDALE - Mrs. Amarylles “Amy” Breiner, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died suddenly of complications from a stroke on December 14, 2020, at the age of 76. She was dearly loved and surrounded by her family at the time of her death. Born in Elsmore, Kansas on August 30, 1944 to LeRoy and Ruby Johnson, Amy was one of nine children. She married the love of her life, Thomas Breiner, on August 8, 1964, and they were blessed with two children. The Breiners moved several times throughout their marriage making homes in Kansas, Oklahoma, Florida, and North Carolina. Amy was devoted to God and her family, and never missed an occasion to express her pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She loved Bible study, playing competitive team tennis, painting, writing short stories, baking for her grandkids, always keeping her hair, makeup and nails on point, and sitting on the porch with her husband. She felt it was a great honor to serve everyone from her grandkids to a stranger. Amy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years Tom; son Jeff, his wife Teresa Jones, grandchildren Ella, Ben, and Lily; daughter Jennifer Eidam, her husband James, grandchildren Taylor Ann and Caden; sister Joan Wolfe; sister Donna Franklin, her husband Bob; brother Allen Johnson, his wife Terri; sister-in-law Jane Lind, her husband Jim; brother-in-law Jim Breiner his wife Carol; and many nieces and nephews.
