Andres De Jesus Guerra

Our hero, Andres De Jesus Guerra, 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on December 13, 2024. Born in San Francisco Menéndez, Ahuachapan, El Salvador. He lived in Raleigh, NC since 2003.

Andres was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. Andres loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be remembered for his vibrant and stunning gardens. He loved spending time creating a garden that was envied by all. He sowed bountifully so he could give bountifully, from his garden and from his heart. Andres was the anchor of his family and he loved them so much. The only one he loved more than his family is Jesus, he proclaimed His name any chance he got. Andres’ smile brought so much joy to anyone he came in contact with. He will be sincerely missed by his family, friends and church family.

Andres is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rosa Guerra, his loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Fresenius Kidney Care for their kindness, support and care for Andres. A special thank you to his favorite nurse, Michelle Love, for caring for him as if he were family.

A visitation will be held on December 20, 2024 between 6:00PM and 8:00PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home: 1200 Benson Rd. Garner, NC 27529.

Funeral Service will be held at Mid-Way Baptist Church: 6910 Fayetteville Rd. Raleigh, NC 27603 on December 21, 2024 at 12:00PM. Burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park at 2PM.

Nuestro héroe, Andrés De Jesús Guerra, de 86 años, falleció en paz, rodeado de su familia el 13 de diciembre de 2024. Nació en San Francisco Menéndez, Ahuachapan, El Salvador. Vivió en Raleigh, Carolina del Norte desde el 2003.

Andrés fue un amoroso esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y tatarabuelo. Andrés amaba la vida y la vivía al máximo. Será recordado por sus vibrantes e impresionantes jardines. Le encantaba dedicar tiempo a crear un jardín que era envidiado por todos. Él sembró generosamente para poder dar generosamente, de su jardín y de su corazón. Andrés era el ancla de su familia y los quería mucho. Al único a quien amaba más que a su familia es a Jesús, proclamaba su nombre cada vez que podía. La sonrisa de Andrés traía mucha alegría a cualquiera que el conocia. Su familia, amigos y la familia de la iglesia lo extrañarán sinceramente.

Le sobreviven a Andres su esposa de 43 años, Rosa Guerra, sus amados hijos, nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos.

La familia desea expresar su sincero agradecimiento a Fresenius Kidney Care por su amabilidad, apoyo y cuidado para Andrés. Un agradecimiento especial a su enfermera favorita, Michelle Love, por cuidarlo como si fuera de la familia.

Se llevará a cabo un tiempo de visitacion el viernes 20 de diciembre entre las 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en la funeraria Bryan-Lee: 1200 Benson Rd. Garner, NC 27529.

El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo en Mid-Way Baptist Church: 6910 Fayetteville Rd. Raleigh, NC 27603 el sabado 21 de diciembre a las 12:00 p.m. El entierro se llevará a cabo en Montlawn Memorial Park a las 2 p.m.
