Andrew "Andy" Abraham Berkowitz

Andrew "Andy" Abraham Berkowitz, 60, passed away on December 7, 2024, at UNC Health Johnston Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

Andy was a kind, soft-spoken man with a great sense of humor. He had varied interests including immersing himself in technology, listening to great music, collecting bowling trophies, and rooting for the Knicks and the Mets. He had a deep passion for cars throughout his life, a love of animals, and a special bond with his grandchildren.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Andy lived on Long Island until 2008 when he and his wife relocated to NC. Andy is survived by many loved ones including his wife, sister, niece and nephew, step-children, and grandchildren.

At Andy's wishes there will be no memorial service. Respects may be paid at Raleigh Memorial Park located at 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612.
