Andrew Carroll Fox

Andrew C. Fox, 57, of Garner and Lumberton, NC passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. Andrew was born in Charlotte, NC on November 1, 1964. He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Fox, his mother, Gudrun Muller Fox and his brother, Martin Fox. He is survived by his spouse, Bradley Martin Thompson of Lumberton, NC, and stepson, Seth Thompson of Lumberton, his sister-in-law Nicole Dobrie Fox and nephews Teddy & Frank Fox of Middleburg, Florida. Also step sisters, Crystal and Sherrill Fox of Statesville, NC. Andrew attended Harding High School in Charlotte and was a graduate of NC State University with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. He also was a Senior Administrative Assistant with Glaxo Smith Kline and RTI International located in Research Triangle Park, Durham, NC. Andrew was a kind and gentle person that always had a smile on his face. He was the perfect travel partner, he & Brad spent 20 years traveling the world. The most recent venture was restoring their Historic Queen Anne home, The Luther Henry Caldwell House in Lumberton, NC which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. He was very proud of saving this abandoned, magnificent property. During most of Andrew’s adult life, he was an accomplished bowler. He was passionate about his team and always striving for the perfect game. In fact, in 2019 he bowled that perfect game – a “300” which is the best possible score in Ten-pin bowling. Afterwards, he was presented with a 300 perfect score ring which he was so proud of. Everyone loved our beloved Andrew.
