Ann Beasley Rogers, 75, passed away at her home in the early hours of Wednesday, February 27 after a courageous battle with cancer. She had been surrounded by family and friends earlier in the evening. Ann Rogers was born January 13, 1938 at the old Rex Hospital on St. Marys Street in Raleigh.Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday in the Mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park with entombment to follow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Irene Beasley; her sisters, Virginia Pearce, Betty Lou Beasley, and Shirley Beasley.She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard Rogers; three children, Timothy Rogers and spouse, Donna, Belinda Keever and spouse, Cebe, and David Rogers and spouse, Wendy, all of Raleigh; brothers, Wilbur Beasley and spouse, Louise of Raleigh, Tommy Beasley of Wake County and Donald Beasley and spouse, Shirley of Raleigh;seven grandchildren, Jennifer Pierotti and spouse, Paul, Rachael Rogers, Melissa Kragel and spouse, Philip, Renee Rogers, Maria Keever, Hunter Rogers, and Holden Rogers, all of Raleigh; and one great-grandchild, Jenna Pierotti of Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner.
