Ann W. Layton

Rebecca “Ann” Worthington Layton, 76, passed away Thursday. A lifetime resident of Wake Co., she was the daughter of the late Larry and Rebecca Tripp Worthington.

She is survived by daughter, Monica Pettengill and husband Wyatt; brother, Clifton Worthington and wife Betty; and niece Gail Baker and husband Ricky; and, of course, Maggy and Sadie, her fur-babies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wesley G. Layton. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her brothers, JT Worthington and Meron Worthington.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends Monday, August 19, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529.
