Anna Jean Blalock

Anna Jean Blalock, 74, of Angier, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April, 20, 2024. Anna was born in Queens, NY to the late Arthur and Helen Koenemund Sr.

Anna is survived by her husband of 51 years, Phillip Blalock; sons, James Blalock (Nancy), of Erwin, John Blalock (Nichele) of Monroe, and Scott Blalock (Kimberly) of Virginia Beach; brother, Archie Koenemund Jr.; grandchildren, Matthey Hocker, Eric Harris (Courtney), Justin Smith, Gracie Blalock, Jackson Blalock, Andrew Blalock, and Katelyn Blalock; and great grandchild Raeyln Smith.

Anna proudly supported Phillip for 18 years while he was in the Air Force. She was a loving homemaker that kept everything together while Phillip was away. Nothing was more important to her than family. She especially loved her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 2:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver St. Angier NC 27501. A visitation will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 before the service.
