Anna Lois Dooley

Anna Lois Dooley, 86, passed away peacefully on November 12. A native of Belhaven, NC, Anna was born May 15, 1934 to the late Junius B. and Mabel Smith Williams. She spent the last 40+ yrs. In Wake County raising a family and working as an insurance agent. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 21st at 12 noon, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1433 Aversboro Road, Garner, NC 27529. Anna is survived by her children, Carol Taylor and husband, Michael, Bill Dooley and wife, Rhonda, Dawn Younce and husband, Chip, Brenda Long and husband, Robby, and Brian Dooley and wife, Christa; grandchildren, Annia Huff, Rob, and Bryan Taylor, Megan Henderson and Rivers Dooley, John Younce, Rachel Weatherspoon, Hannah Thongthai, Rebecca Godfrey, Adam and Jacob Younce, Jordan Cinal, Erin Berry, Casey and Alicia Long; great grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, and Kathryn Huff, Owen, Riley, Scarlett, Julianna, and Elly Taylor, August Henderson, Brooklyn and Bennett Weatherspoon, Lily, Rose, and Iris Thongthai, Emmalin Cinal, and Autumn Sill. She had a Heart of Gold. Anna will be remembered for her love of family, dancing, cats, ceramics, playing cards and searching for hidden treasures at flea markets and thrift stores, that she would always give to someone else. She never met a stranger, was full of energy and spunk, was nurturing and generous to all that knew her or to anyone in need. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she loved and was loved by many.
