Annie B. Walker

Garner-Annie B. Walker, 92, passed away Thursday at her home. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Edgar Parrish and Isabel Pounds Parrish. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Auburn Christian Church Cemetery.Survivors include her children, Elsie Bynum (Al), Sue Best (Mickey), Billy Walker (Lucille), Doug Walker (Roslyn), Benny Walker (Jeri), all of Garner, Bobby Walker (Edie) of Gastonia; sister, Earline Franklin of Garner; grandchildren, Teresa Sullivan (Terry), Chris Walker (Donna), John Bynum (Amy), Tina Parsons ( Dereck), Phillip Walker, Joey Best (Kristina), Tara Germonto, Laura Walker, Rob Walker (Melody) and Brian Walker. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ford Walker; sisters, Lucille Richardson, Tess Cooper, Mary Hicks and Betty Smith; brothers, Doc Parrish and John Parrish. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
