Annie M. Hall

ANGIER – Annie M. Hall, 97, of Angier, passed away Friday, March 20, 2021. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Owen Denton “O.D.” and Nina Woodard Matthews. Mrs. Hall is survived by her four daughters, JoAnne Phelps (Billy), Lou Ferrell, Rosemary Billings, Jackie Kirk; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter, and one great great grandson due in May. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hall; her son, Joel Hall; granddaughter, Erin Kirk; sisters, Maggie Nordan, Edith Pollard, Betty Griffin; brothers, Allison Matthews, Owen Matthews, Tommy Matthews; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Gift Primitive Baptist Church, 130 West Main St, Coats, NC 27521. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. Mrs. Hall will lie in state on Wednesday, March 24th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, for anyone that would like to pay their respects and sign the registry. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Hall, 2266 Mitchell Rd, Angier, NC 27501. Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.” The family would like to acknowledge Lisa Lee for the care given to our Mama over the last nine years.
