Anthony Lamar Alexander

Anthony Lamar Alexander (Ant, Tony), loving husband and father, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 10, 2022. He was born in Charlotte, NC and moved to Garner, NC as a young child, where he became part of the Woods family. He met his wife, Molly, while attending Garner High School and they were married and had six beautiful children. He was a devoted husband, father and friend. Outside of his work, he supported his wife with their continued service to our local communities. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing basketball, football and video games, taking family trips and giving the gift of laughter to all those he encountered. He was a natural jokester and loved to make those around him smile. Anthony is survived by his wife, Molly, and their children: Olivia, Elijah, Josiah, Azriah, Mariah and Zachariah; mother, Carol Lewter; mother, Susan Hocutt; foster mother, Carol Davenport; father, Alfred Alexander; brothers, Kenneth Boleman, Sean Woods, Jamaal Kelly, Nigel Kelly; sister, Amanda Woods; brother, Derrick Alexander; also by many cousins and friends. Viewing and funeral service has been arranged for Saturday, January the 22nd. Viewing starting at 10am followed by a funeral service beginning promptly at 11am at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC.
