Arnold T. Hudson

GARNER - Arnold T. Hudson, 76, passed away Thursday Aug. 15, 2013. Arnold retired from Medline after many years of delivering medical supplies to hospitals and non-profit charities. He also worked for the State of N. C. in the prison system. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Arnold attended Turner Memorial Baptist Church for several years where he served as Deacon, and loved attending church when he could. Mr Arnold was beloved by everyone who knew him. Funeral Services will be held Sunday August 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Turner Memorial Baptist Church, Garner. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 2-3 PM at the church. A private burial will follow at Erwin Memorial Park, Erwin. Arnold was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Paul Burke; son, Robert Hudson and foster daughter Wanda Farmer. Surviving are his wife of 53 years Judith Parker Hudson; daughters, Ruby Burke, Deborah Taylor and husband Dr. Norman Taylor, II; son, James Hudson and wife Kim, daughter-in-law Kimberly Chapman Hudson; sister, Elaine House and husband Lester; brother, Marshall Hudson and wife Helen; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family is requesting no flowers , instead contributions to Turner Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund 3704 Benson Rd. Garner, NC 27529.
