Arthur J. Wood

ANGIER – Arthur Junior Wood, 85, passed away Wednesday. A native of Wake County he was the son of the late Mallie C. Wood and Stella Wood. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina. Mr. Wood is survived by his wife of 63 years, Pansy Eliza Greer Wood; daughters, Carolyn Pinion, Mary Russell and husband, Glenn, Teresa Wood, all of Willow Spring; grandchildren, Joseph Russell, James Pinion, Valerie Baker, Samantha Coor, Dylan and Jessica Wood; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kayla, Savannah and Jayla Russell, Zachary Baker, Layla Pinion and Jace Coor. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and at other times at the home of Carolyn Pinion, 8532 Quail Creek Dr. Willow Spring, NC 27592. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his son, Jimmy Arthur Wood; four sisters and two brothers.
