Ashley Raynor Hall, 38, of Benson, North Carolina, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 25, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness.
Ashley was born on March 22, 1986, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to Deborah Raynor and the late Norman Raynor. She graduated from Garner High School in 2004 and went on to play softball at Louisburg College and Mount Olive College. She also attended NC State and Lees-McRae. After college, Ashley went on to work at NOVA Office Strategies and then began her career at Poyner Spruill LLP where she was a legal administrator.
Ashley loved to go to the beach and also enjoyed tubing trips in the mountains with friends. She loved to play softball and was involved in many different recreational leagues over the years with her fiancé, Wesley. She also enjoyed going to her daughter's practices and games and giving pointers to her and her teammates.
Ashley loved her family, friends and softball family more than anything. She never knew a stranger and would do anything to lend a helping hand. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.
Ashley is preceded in death by her father, Norman Raynor, Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah Raynor; her fiancé, Wesley Benson; her daughter, Kayden Hall; her sister, Jennifer Raynor Martowska; her nephews and extended family.
A funeral will be held at 2 pm Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Rd., Garner, North Carolina 27529. There will be a visitation and family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice House of UNC Health Johnston at johnstonhealthfoundation.org. The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude to SECU Hospice House for their love, kindness and support they showed to Ashley and her family through this difficult time.
