Barbara Ann Wilder

RALEIGH – Barbara Ann Wilder, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

She was born in Wake County on June 7, 1948, the daughter of the late Milton Samuel Wilder and Esther Lupo Wilder. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Sammie Hannon.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Sue Rouse and husband, Don of Raleigh; niece, Susan Taylor and husband, Nick of Nashville, and their children, Poppy and Maddox; nephew, Brian Rouse and wife, Kara of Garner, and their children, Easton and Evelyn; step-mother, Jackie Wilder of Raleigh; significant other, Reese Byrd of Raleigh, and his family which includes daughter, Heather Rodgers and husband, Jason of Cary, and their children, Rowan and Sonny.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Raleigh, located at 831 Wake Forest Road. Private interment will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
