Fuquay-Varina - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith. Heaven received an amazing angel on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Barbara was 75 and was born on June 22, 1936, in Harnett County, to the late Florence Dean and Joe Wilson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert Tutor, brothers, Freeman and infant Wilson, sister, Libby Wilson. Barbara Ann retired from Westinghouse following 27 years of service. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her kind, loving, gentle and giving spirit and will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, and all of those she touched throughout her life. She was a woman of incredible faith and was a loyal member of Christian Light Church for many years. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren dearly. Surviving, son, Robbie Tutor, daughter, Rhonda Thomason and son-in-law Wayne, grandchildren, Robbie Tutor Jr., Jason Thomason, Michelle Capps and husband Mike, great grandchildren and the love of her life, Anna and Andrew Capps, numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister in-laws. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 14 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver Street, Angier, NC and other times at the home of Rhonda and Wayne Thomason, 3404 Piney Grove Wilbon Road, Fuquay-Varina. A funeral service will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home; Angier, NC on Sunday, April 15, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the Dean Family Cemetery, Oakridge Duncan Road, Fuquay-Varina. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christian Light Christian Church, 4351 Christian Light Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, or a charity of your choice. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to her doctors, Fuquay Dialysis Center, the nurses/staff on 4 East at Rex, Tri-Star, Shannon Roberts, Gwen Underwood, Shirley Stewart, and the many family and friends who visited her during her long illness.
