Barbara Nell Williams

Barbara Nell Williams, 83, of Garner passed peacefully on October 30, 2022 at Hospice House in Smithfield, N.C. She was born in Fuquay Springs, Wake County, N.C. on July 29, 1939, to Layton and Magdalene Honeycutt Womack. Nell was preceded in death by husbands, TSgt Donald R. Collins, Harry Russel Aull, Bernard T. Williams; longtime friend, Lt Col James Cooney and stepson, Danny Aull.

She is survived by daughter, Patricia Collins Stevens; son, Ray Collins (Tracy); stepson, Lynn Aull (Cindy); grandchildren Jennifer Stevens, Amanda Collins Spoon (Tommy), Christopher Collins (Brooke), Shawn Stevens (Elisabeth); step grandchildren Jeffrey and Ashley Aull; eight great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.

Visitation will be at Bryan Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, N.C. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 3:00-3:45 p.m. followed by a memorial service conducted by Elder Tony Parker at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shriners Children Hospital, 950 Faris Road, Greenville, S.C.
