Barry Dale Smith

ANGIER– Barry Dale Smith, 59, died Wednesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born in Harnett County, he was the son of the late Staley Palmer Smith and Mary Jo Williford. Graveside service will be 10:00 am Saturday at Durham-Hall-Smith Family Graveyard, Fuquay-Varina. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday night at the home of Sheree and Donald Gregory. Barry is survived by his daughter, Jessica Smith of Angier; son, Bryan Smith of Missouri; stepmother, Kathy Smith of Angier; sisters, Sheree Gregory and husband Donald of Angier, Gwen Glover and husband Joseph of Clayton; brother, Ricky Smith and wife Deloris of Angier; two grandchildren; and a host of extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barry’s memory to your favorite charity.
