Barry David Harston

HOLLY SPRINGS– Barry David Harston, 46, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 23, 2023. Barry was born on March 24, 1976, in Mississippi County, Arkansas. He is the son of Cindy Turner and James Harston, Jr.

Barry graduated in 1994 from Arkadelphia High School in Arkansas. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing in his free time. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his son who he cherished above all else.

Barry was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack McKay.

He is survived by his parents Cindy Turner (Nathan Turner) and James Harston, Jr. (Michelle Harston); son, Hunter Harston and his mother, Lindsey Harston; grandparents, Edna McKay, James Harston, Sr., and Sue Harston; sisters, Jamie Harston, and Jennifer Turner; nieces and nephews (Wit, Jet, and Jazmin Turner, Liam and Noah Nettles, and Tyler and Emily Evarts), and special loved ones, Ken, and Lynn Tyler.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, who so kindly cared for Barry during his final days.
