Barry Reid Keith

RALEIGH – Barry Reid Keith, 66, died Thursday. He was born in Indiana, raised in West Palm Beach, FL and has lived in NC for the last 45 years. He was employed by GlaxoSmithKline for 29 years performing cancer research. At the time of his death, he was teaching biology at Johnston Community College.  He was loved by all his colleagues and students. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Barry is survived by his beloved family; wife of 43 years, Deborah Keith; daughter, Anna Keith Reusche and husband, Nabil of Raleigh; son, Benjamin Reid Keith of Greensboro; granddaughters, Eva and Maggie Reusche; nieces, Katherine Respess, Rebecca Tilbrook and husband, Dave and Charlotte Jones. He will be missed by many dear friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Building Fund, 3000 E. Garner Rd., Raleigh, NC 27610.
