Beth Hunter

COATS – Beth Hunter, 77, passed away Monday at Rex Hospital. A native of Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Ennis Stephens and Grace Taylor Stephens. Beth is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Mingin (Joe) of Angier, Janet Tedder (Derrick) of Raleigh; son, David West of Raleigh; sisters, Rosa Kirby of Richmond, VA, Peggy Little of West Columbia, TX, Betty Willoughby of Fayetteville; brother, Danny Stephens of Lumberton; grandchildren, Hunter Mingin, Taylor Tedder, Lily West, Hannah Tedder, Jahmari Bridges; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30th, at 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Angier. In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by her husband, James Hunter; son, Donald Keith West; sister, Virginia Britt; and brother, Jerry Stephens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UNC Rex Cancer Center, Rex Healthcare Foundation, 2500 Blue Ridge Rd., Suite 325, Raleigh, NC 27607 in Beth’s memory.
