Betsy Baucom Marks

ANGIER – Betsy Ann Marks, 78, passed away on Thursday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Thurley Baucom and Elizabeth Butts Baucom. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James McDonald Marks, in 2018. Betsy’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23rd from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Betsy is survived by her daughter, Lynette Wilder (Bryan) of Raleigh; sons, Jerry McDonald Marks (Tammy) of Angier and Michael James Marks of Angier; brother, G. W. Baucom (Carolyn) of Buies Creek; grandchildren, James Senter (Leah) of Burlington, Danielle Steele (Aaron) of Angier, Zachary Marks of Angier; great-grandchildren, Xavier Senter, Eden Senter, Audriana Steele, Ellabelle Steele; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betsy was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Baucom, Sherrill Baucom, Jasper Baucom, Joseph Baucom; sister, Patricia Price.
