Betty B. Wallace

July 4, 1927 — March 31, 2015

Angier – Betty Blue Wallace, 87, passed away on Monday surrounded by her loving family. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Neva Sherman Currin. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Angier. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of Betty Blue. Betty Blue is survived by her sons, O.B. Wallace and wife, Betty Lou of Angier, Glenn Wallace and wife, Sylvia of Angier; grandchildren, Patrick Wallace and wife, Page of Angier, Travis Wallace and wife, Cassie of Holly Springs, Sonya Wallace Piper and husband, Billy of Angier and Melissa Wallace of Angier; great-grandchildren, Luke, Thompson and Neal Wallace, William, Michael and Elijah Piper; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty Blue is preceded in death by her husband, David Wallace, Jr.; four sisters and six brothers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 851 Oak Grove Church Rd. Angier, NC 27501 or to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
